Adriana Rogers - Interview |
1. How did you get involved in fitness competitions?
Honestly, I wanted to prove to myself that I can do hard things. Competing became my way of pushing past limits I didn't even realize I had. There's something incredibly empowering about knowing you chose this-waking up early, showing up tired, training, posing, dialing everything in-and then watching the full package come together. On the hard days, when I still check every box, that's the proudest version of me. |
2. How do you balance your fitness career with a very demanding career in the operating room?
It's less about balance and more about discipline. My schedule can be intense, so I don't rely on motivation-I rely on structure. I plan ahead, stay organized, and treat my workouts like non-negotiables. Some days are long, some days are messy, but I always find a way to show up. That consistency builds confidence in both careers. |

3. What daily routines and systems help you achieve your goals?
I keep things simple and repeatable. Early mornings, training before the day takes over, and staying on top of nutrition. I don't overcomplicate it-I execute. I also make time for the things that keep me grounded: fresh air, long walks with my dog Ranger, and slowing down enough to reset mentally. |
4. What are some of your favorite training methods?
I love training with intention. Progressive overload is a staple, but I'm big on tempo and control-it's not just moving weight, it's feeling it. And I won't lie, I gravitate toward lower body days... they're tough, but that's kind of the point. |
5. What are some of your next goals in your fitness career?
I want to keep leveling up-refining my physique and stepping onto bigger stages. But beyond that, I want to build something that inspires other women to chase strength and confidence on their own terms. |
6. How do you deal with challenges and setbacks in life and in fitness?
I don't spiral-I adjust. Setbacks happen, in life and in prep. I let myself feel it, but I don't stay there. Then it's: what's the next move? Discipline carries you when motivation fades, and I've learned that resilience is built in those moments you don't feel like showing up-but do anyway. |
7. What other goals and projects do you have outside your fitness career?
I'm very driven in my professional life, but outside of that, I want to build something of my own-something that empowers people to elevate their mindset and lifestyle. And honestly, I just love being active-golfing, getting outside, and spending time with friends and family any chance I get. |
8. How does your relationship with your dog affect and enrich your life?
Ranger is my reset button. No matter how intense life gets, he pulls me back to the present. Long walks, fresh air-it's simple, but it keeps my mental health in check and reminds me not to take everything so seriously. |
9. What are some of your role models in life?
I admire people who are quietly relentless. The ones who don't need attention, they just show up, stay consistent, and build something meaningful over time. That kind of discipline speaks louder than anything else. |
10. What are some of your favorite books?
I love a good thriller with a little edge-something that keeps you hooked and guessing. Freida McFadden is a favorite of mine. I'm setting a goal to read 12 books this year, so I'm always looking for something that pulls me in and keeps me turning pages. |
11. Favorite podcasts or other material?
I'm all about crime and murder podcasts-anything suspenseful with a storyline that keeps you thinking. It's my go-to when I want to unwind but still feel engaged. |
